Bolton Nomads have made their debut in the very competitive Lancashire Amateur League.

The side, who formerly played in the Mid-Lancashire League, have begun well and presently sit-mid table. In a division made-up of fourteen teams Nomads have already played 13 league matches and although they struggled to adjust early on they seemed to have found their feet.

October proved to be a lucrative month for the side where they picked up three crucial wins.

It is not the scoring that seems to have been an issue. They hit 14 goals in that month but also conceded 14 at the other end!

It is a new scene for the side and they should be commended as should Blackburn United for looking to take part in different leagues.

They unveiled their new kit this season too, which is courtesy of accountants A Patel and Co and kit designer Munshini. A big thanks to the sponsors for backing local football in this way.
