Balckburn FC take on Fishwick Rangers in a repeat of the first round of 2009.

Blackburn FC vs Fishwick Rangers (6pm Sunday May 4)
The Blackburn team have only lost once in open play for two years here now. But it is getting past that final hurdle that is proving elusive.
In their league after a good run in the LFA trophy and the cup, the side maintained their premier league status.
A penalty shoot-out at the hands of Coppice last year put paid to their chances at the semi-final stage after the game ended 1-1. The year before it was Coppice again standing in their way.
They do look a lot more settled than last year but in this tournament the more established teams have always found the going tough. If they can begin well they may well prove a threat but they will have to get through a confident Fishwick first and then a resurgent Asia or Paak. On paper though the starting line-up is as good as any other in this tournament.

Fishwick will be hoping to repeat success of five years ago. The Preston side have finished their league season on a high with promotion into Division Three.
With some emphatic victories in the league they were averaging five goals a game at one stage.
The side though is a mix of the new Fishwick and the old Canaries team. Canaries who bossed this tournament for a number of years folded in the Lancashire Sunday League and were replaced by Fishwick who decided to re-build from the bottom by entering the league in the bottom division. This season they have smashed in over 70 goals and promotion never really looked in any doubt.
They have good mix of experienced and young players who will test teams to the limit.
They may be looking to make-up for lost time having not played in this tournament for several years under this name.
