A repeat of last year's first game as two former winners aim to reach the semi's.

Asia vs  Paak united Sunday May 4 (4pm kick off)
The Rochdale team will be looking to improve on things in this year’s tournament. After winning the cup in 2007, Asia FC has enjoyed little success.
Up until that point they regularly made it to the final stages.
Their league form has been unpredictable with a series of good wins but then a number of bad defeats.
Their league postion in the Sunday League left them well shy of the promotion spots.
Asia are a stronger outfit than years gone by and will be looking to test the opposition a lot more this time round. In 2014 they did start well but a bad second half to the game cost them dearly.

It has been a long six years since they got to the final of this tournament but they did impress in the North West Asian Play-offs earlier in the year. They face Paak United in the first round again - a repeat of 2013. But as we have learnt there are no easy games in this tournament.

The local hosts Paak United will be looking to create a few shocks this year.
Success has been a long time coming for the Nelson side since they won this tournament for the only time  many years ago.

They managed to squeeze past Asia last year and into the semi’s - before then they only had one other semi-final appearance (back in 2010).
It will have to be a vast improvement if they can battle into the final but it is not beyond them.

They had three sides in the Pendle Charity League this year in three different divisions – another first.  Which is evidence that they remain one of the region’s most established clubs.
Yet, they have still not reached their full potential at this level for some time. Luckily, they have avoided one of the more in form teams first time round and will be hoping the ten year anniversary of their famous win is a good one.
