The popular ‘Doctor in the House’ returns for a second series.

The four part series will see Manchester-based GP Dr Rangan Chatterjee invited to live alongside two families each week that struggle with their health. 

He gains insights into how they live, including what they eat, their sleep patterns, exercise regimes and how they relax. He then delivers a hard-hitting health diagnosis, as well as simple ways in which we can all live longer, healthier lives.

Dr Rangan Chatterjee said: “The general population’s health as well as our families’ is of paramount importance – I hope this series helps those who feel they need a lifestyle change, by giving them the confidence to try a different approach.”

Doctor in the House is produced by Studio Lambert and was commissioned by Tom McDonald, BBC Head of Commissioning, Natural History and Specialist Factual.
