Thousands of Muslims from the UK have completed the journey of a lifetime - the annual Hajj.
Many will be returning to the UK in the coming weeks after having partaken in visits to Makkah and then Madina.
Authorities said more than 1.86 million Muslims from 160 countries performed the pilgrimage at Islam’s holiest city.
In one of the most poignant moments on the Hajj pilgrims pray on Mount Arafat, a hill just outside Makkah.
In total this year male pilgrims made up of 1,082,228 persons while the total female pilgrims reached 780,681 persons.
