CHAIRMAN Nirmal Singh Sekhon, and other members of the Yorkshire Sikh Forum, at Merchants House, Little Germany, Bradford, have held a two minutes' silence to condemn the terrorist attack which took place outside the Finsbury Mosque, in London, on June 19.
A spokesman said: “Yorkshire Sikh Forum condemns the terrorist attack on innocent Muslim worshipers at the Finsbury park Mosques. The victims of this unprovoked vile attack are very much in our thoughts.
"We welcome the Prime Minister’s calling of the COBRA committee meeting. This shows that the government is rightly taking this incident seriously at the highest level.
"We must show restraint and not be provoked by what has happened. All faith communities must stand together and not allow themselves be divided by the divisive forces of violence.”
