One of their overriding aims has been to inspire other young people within their community.

Through their performances they have addressed issues such as bullying, harassment, domestic violence and the violence between different cultures.

Speaking on the night they said, “It is an amazing experience because there were so many other fantastic candidates as finalists for this award.

“We have been dancing for 13 years and at first it was just a hobby. Over time we went to India and we saw less fortunate people so we decided to dedicate our dancing to something more fulfilling. So we decided to support charities.”

Youth Leadership Award finalists this year were: Aamir Shah, Ameena Bibi, Abu Hanifah Foundation Scouts Group and India Sidhu.
