Fusion 2013 celebrates the achievements from all sections of the community.
The Fusion Awards, although sponsored by Asian Image includes finalists from across the North West from all cultures and backgrounds.
Asian Image has since its inception aimed to celebrate not only the work of members of the Asian community but also to highlight those individuals or groups that work tirelessly within all communities.
This year we again have finalists from Manchester, Rochdale, Oldham, Bury, Fleetwood, Lancaster, Preston, Burnley, Nelson, Accrington and Blackburn.
The awards will include a whole new list of nominees, many of whom have been nominated as finalists for any awards ceremony.
The past week in particular has shown there are powers that be that may wish to divide communities.
At Fusion this weekend the stage it set to celebrate how a community is and will remain united despite these pressures.
