A major tissue supplier has announced that it has been awarded certifications in recognition of their on-going commitment to 'quality management processes and high quality customer service'.
Star Tissue which is based in Blackburn was awarded the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditations by Alcumus ISOQAR.
Alcumus ISOQAR provides certification services that are accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
The company says this latest achievement reflects Star Tissue’s continued drive to manufacture quality hygiene paper products and customer care. Star Tissue started their journey towards meeting these requirements in September 2015 with a view to achieving certification in January 2016.
Ian Ainsworth Warehouse and Facilities Manager said, “Achieving the three standards allows us to improve and develop the products we offer and enhance the customer experience. We strive to deliver the right service on time, the first time and every time. Our quality management system monitors and control processes help us achieve this”
Abid Ditta Sales Director said, “ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications are about professional credibility. By having all 3 standards, we are making a statement of intent that we are continuously striving to evolve as a company, and be the very best."
