A new hijab and abaya range has been unveiled by fashion power house Dolce and Gabbana.
The debut collection was first showcased by Style.com/Arabia.
The limited edition includes printed abayas in opulent fabrics and neutral colours as well as printed and embroidered hijabs.
Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana spoke of their fascination with the Middle East in an interview with The National in Italy last year.
Gabbana said,“I’m really fascinated with the Middle East and we’ve just completed a prêt-a-porter collection of abayas and sheylas.
“Pieces have some lace, embroidery and some prints – but not too much.”
