There has been a change in venue of the Blackburn Engage Hustings event.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the venue has been changed to A & S Function Hall, Fort Street, Blackburn, BB1 5DP.
The time and date will remain the same – Sunday 25th April at 2.30pm.
Currently, Engage is involved in national campaign ‘Get Out & Vote!’ where the overall aim is to encourage British Muslims to take part in the forthcoming General Election(s) which are to be held on Thursday May 6th 2010.
A key part of the Get Out & Vote! Campaign has been to provide British Muslims with information about candidate views on key issues, so that they can better decide which candidate to vote for.
With this in mind 50 invited representatives and spokespeople from the community will get to grill the the election candidates. This is an invitation only event and NOT open to the public.
