A woman’s random act of kindness has gone viral after it was shared on Facebook.
Lisa Maria Devlin, who was buying food for an Eid party which was raising money for Syria, took to Facebook to share a spontaneous charitable gesture by Nicola Fullen, a staff member in Lidl.
Lisa wrote, “Yesterday i was in Lidl in Lurgan , Northern Ireland and explained we were having a kids Eid party for children from Syria spoke to Nicola the manager expecting maybe a small discount.
"To my absolute astonishment she took out her own bank card and paid £68 for all the fresh fruit , vegetables and crisps and drinks resulting in me reduced to tears. Heartship charity thanks you very much happy ”
The post has since been shared thousands of times on Facebook.
Lisa added another post after the initial one induced such a warm response.
“Nicola Fullen you are going viral I have had messages from all over the world recognising your kindness and the work Heartship do offering us financial support & words of encouragement. You have restored the peoples faith in humanity.”
