POLICE have released CCTV images of a tyre-slashing incident - and a man who they want to speak to following the vandalism.
The shocking incident saw a man approach a parked Mercedes on Taylor Street in Brierfield before using a blade to slash a tyre.
Images show the man appearing to crouch down at the corner of the car.
He then made off from the scene with another male following the incident at around 12.20am on August 27.
The suspect is described as Asian with short black hair and was also wearing a grey tracksuit.
Officers are appealing for information after the car was vandalised, and are particularly keen to speak to the man pictured in connection with their enquiries.
PC Hannah Bibby, of Colne Police, said: "Do you recognise this man? We want to trace him after a car was vandalised in Brierfield.
"I would urge anyone with information to contact police."
Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting crime reference EG1705971 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
