A fundraiser will be walking five miles in Central London while fasting and carrying 8 litres of water on his back.

Hasan Faridi walk will begin his walk tomorrow at around 1pm at Kings Cross Station and he will make his way towards the River Thames.

He said, “The motivation to set myself this challenge was after I heard about how villagers in Pakistan are having to walk long distances just to carry water back home.

"The hardship I may feel doing my walk is nothing compared to what others feel on a daily basis.

“These waterpumps will make a difference to the lives of so many families and ease their burdens.”

Earlier this month Hasan walked Bradford to Leeds whilst fasting as part of a charity fundraiser he launched named 'Water 4 All'.

He said, "Funds raised will go towards the building of waterpumps in Pakistan. These will be installed by Human Relief Foundation.

"Further challenges I will take on in aid of Water 4 All include a 8-mile trek in the Yorkshire Dales next month, a climb up the highest mountain in Britain Ben Nevis in August, and a trek through the Sahara Trek in October."
