The store in question is believed to be in London and many shoppers were quick to re-post the picture on social media this morning.

On the whole though many Muslims were quick to see the funny side of the gaffe.

In a statement, Tesco said, “We are proud to offer a wide range of meals and products to meet the needs of our customers during Ramadan. “We recognise these Pringles weren’t in the most suitable place and our store colleagues have now moved them.”
