Protest at Dehli zoo
A volunteers of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) wearing a bodysuit resembling tigers sits in a cage outside Delhi Zoological Park during a protest, in New Delhi.
The protest, which was ahead of International Tiger Day on July 29, was against the death of eight tigers at the zoo in last six months from newborn cubs to adults.
They also urged the Indian government to shifts its focus to protecting tigers and other animals in their natural homes instead of keeping them in zoos. (AP/Swarup)
