After wowing audiences in the ‘Dirty Picture’ Vidya Balan returns this month in another challenging role.
Kahaani tells the story of Vidya Bagchi (Vidya) who arrives in Kolkata from London to find her missing husband.
Seven months pregnant and alone in a festive city, she begins a relentless search for her husband.

Kahaani is the latest movie by maverick filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh, who blends art with intrigue on screen.
Set against a menacing backdrop of Kolkata by-lanes and alleyways, Kahaani presents Balan in her fifth female-centric role to date.
The movie is complimented by a haunting soundtrack, courtesy of Hindi cinema’s gifted composing duo, Vishal-Shekhar.
The musical score has already received a level of praise from film legend Amitabh Bachchan Bachchan wrote: "May I just say that singing Rabindra Sangeet for the first time was the greatest
