Cricket legend Wasim Akram makes his long-awaited film debut in Money Back Guarantee (MGB) this Eid. 

MBG is written by actor and comedian Faisal Qureshi and also marks Qureshi's cinematic directorial debut. Qureshi also features in the film.

The plot of MBG reportedly revolves around a bank robbery. Akram plays the President of the bank amid a frenzied heist with the film was shot in Karachi and Thailand.

Wasim and director Faisal Qureshi have worked together in several commercials. The director also convinced Wasim's wife, activist and philanthropist Shaniera Akram to act in MBG, in which she also makes her film acting debut.

The Urdu-language film stars Javed Sheikh, superstar Fawad Khan, Hina Dilpazir, Ali Safina, Shayan Khan, Mikaal Zulfiqar,  Mirza Gohar Rasheed, Hajra Yamin, Ayesha Omar, Faysal Quraishi and Jan Rambo. 

Wasim is considered to be an exponent of swing bowling at an international level and one of the best left-arm fast bowlers ever to play the game.

He has 414 and 502 Test and One Day International (ODI) wickets, respectively to his credit. His 18 wickets not only won him “Player of the Tournament” award but was also key to Pakistan's triumph during the 1992 World Cup in Australia.
