Couple have been married 86 years!

A couple who celebrated their 86th wedding anniversary this month could be the UK’s longest married husband and wife.
Karam and Kartari Chand, of Bradford, tied the knot in a traditional Sikh ceremony in 1925.
They have just celebrated their 86th year together, which they think may qualify them as the UK's longest married couple.
Mr Chand, 106, and his wife, 99, were born in a small rural village in the Punjab in northern India. They emigrated to Bradford in 1966, where Mr Chand found work in the mill trade. They went on to have eight children, 27 grandchildren and more than ten great grandchildren.
Their daughter Kaushalya Devi said there was no secret to her parents long marriage. “I just think they have had a happy time together. Simple co-operation, patience and just getting along has been the key to it all.”
Mr and Mrs Chand live with their youngest son Satpal, who is the landlord of the Castle Hotel in Grattan Street, together with his wife and two of their four children.
Mrs Devi said she thought a good diet and a close family had contributed to her parents’ long and happy lives.
“Living with family is a big help and support,” she said. “The company of family helps them to pass time and stay alert instead of them being alone in the house.
“Children should make the most of their parents and care for them while they are still here. It is no good putting them in a nursing home and being sorry once they are gone.”
