Surprisingly, there is no mention of all the other 70’s events: the famines, the strikes, the oil embargo, power-cuts, the CIA coupe in Chile, the Indo-Pakistan wars, apartheid, Vietnam, mass employment, civil unrest, Disco and ‘Love Thy Neighbour’ – enough said!
In this time-travelling yarn, a young man called Bunty (I kid you not) is unhappy with his life and believes that if his parents' (Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai) marriage had been a love marriage, his life would have been perfect.
To set matters right, he steals a time machine from Professor Anthony Gonsalves (get it? HAR HAR) and transports himself to the 1970's.
