Uncharted 2: Developer Naughty Dog, Publisher Sony Computer Entertainment Europe - Out now on PlayStation 3.

The original Uncharted game was a big hit with PS3 owners, and even though the ending spoiled the otherwise excellent storyline for me (I won’t ruin it for you, all I’ll say is that I’m a big fan of games that can keep things fun without sacrificing realism), it was still a great experience.

The gameplay was seldom boring, the graphics were nothing short of stunning, and it was largely regarded as one of the best games to grace the PlayStation ever.

This sequel provides more of the same, but with some online multiplayer modes tacked on.

The storyline is exciting (helped 100% by some of the best voice acting I’ve ever heard in a game), the graphics are even better (Naughty Dog seemed to have some of the best graphics departments in the business), and yet again it’s up there with the best PlayStation games of all-time.

If you like action adventure games, you will love this.

The story centres on a treasure hunter who is approached to help hunt down a 14th century relic. But as you progress through the story, you find more than you bargain for. Through various beautiful landscapes, from snowy cliffs to the jungle, you find yourself running from all kinds of threats to your livelihood!

My only complaint about the game is that the online modes feel slightly cramped, with small maps and relatively few players in each mode compared to other games.

But it still provides a lot of fun and online or offline, this should be a definite purchase if you’re a PS3 owner. (9/10).
