The birth of the new royal baby has been marked in the time-honoured way with a gun salute in London’s Hyde Park.
The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery carried out the 41-round tribute with First World War era field guns.
A 62-gun salute was carried out at the same time at the Tower of London.
The newcomer is a younger brother for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
