Ex-Masterchef contestant, Raheel Mirza, is set to host a online cookalong event to raise funds for the victims of the bombing of Palestine.

Organised by The Cookalong Company Ltd, will feature celebrity chefs Nadia Sawalha and Dina Sawalha, known as the Curly Cooks of Croydon, and Raheel himself, who will be demonstrating authentic Palestinian cuisine.

The event takes place from 5.30pm on Saturday February 10 and will showcase Palestinian culture through culinary arts.

Raheel will prepare the traditional Chicken Musakhan dish live, complemented by a vegan specialty from the Curly Cooks. Participants from across the globe, spanning from Brazil to Jordan, will join virtually, cooking the same dish in real-time from their own kitchens.

It will also feature special guest Laila Rouass and hundreds of participants coming together virtually over Zoom.

Attendees will receive joining instructions, equipment lists, and ingredient details upon registration via the Eventbrite link.

Tickets for the event are priced at £3, with all proceeds directed towards Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), a humanitarian organisation providing vital medical assistance to Palestinians in need.

Raheel said, "This cookalong is not only about sharing delicious food but also about standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people during these challenging times. Through our collective efforts, we aim to make a meaningful difference and support essential humanitarian aid."
