THE family of a man killed in a horror crash on Great Horton Road in Bradford have paid heartfelt tributes to a brother they described as a happy lad and beautiful person.

A day after Harris Abu Bakar, 22, died in an early morning crash on Great Horton Road near the junction of Dracup Avenue, his family laid flowers at the scene in tribute to their beloved brother.

"He was a beautiful person," said his brother Qasim, 28. "He was a happy lad and he'd always come up and shake your hand.

"He was my brother and best friend."

"He was a diamond," said his eldest brother Haroon, 33. "He was a jolly person.

"It's so heartbreaking," said his sister Mariyum. "He was such a sweet and kind boy. He never caused any trouble at all."

Haroon said: "We've been going through hell, but the community and Harris' friends have been very supportive."

The three siblings said that Harris, 22, from Great Horton, attended Grange Technology College, on Hayliffe Road, and they said he was currently training to be a motor mechanic.

The family added: "We kindly request dua for Harris Abu Bakar, our beloved and lovely brother."
