A phone shop has been handing out free food to all customers ahead of Christmas.
Junaid Issat owner of Hi Cloud, based in Blackburn said the family wanted to thank the local community for their support and bring some festive cheer to the neighbourhood.
Junaid has run the mobile and vape shop for five years, whilst his father Ismail has run the ‘Cheaper Market’ store, next door for 32 years.
Over 130 packages containing biryani and sweet treats were distributed from the store leading up to Christmas.

Junaid said: “This year we’ve noticed many of our customers and people from the community have been struggling in the current climate of the rising living costs.
“As a thank you for their continued custom and support of Hi Cloud throughout the year, we wanted to give back to the community so we decided to do free food packs to help those in need.
“It’s been a huge success and people have been very thankful and appreciative of the sentiment. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has participated.”
