I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to get fatigued by the news now. There’s a lot of flip-flopping around lockdown, tiers and all of that and, frankly, it’s getting confusing and same-y all at once.

Everyone is now posting their almost end of year photos on social media.

There is a lot of noise along the lines of I can’t wait for this year to be over! however, such statements do make me giggle. I mean, it’s not like on New Year’s Day 2021, the dreaded covid is suddenly going to disappear into thin air.

What will you be doing on Christmas Day? We are still undecided in terms of how much we are going to use the slight freedoms given to us.  With elderly family members, we still have to be careful.

With plans changing constantly, if you want some last minute inspo, see my xmas gift guide. Click Here

So what else is new beyond the C word? On my end, we’re getting through our 6344557777755th cold while I’ve been trying to squeeze in some work between the babies. I’m glad to say that my second novel - The Secret Diary of a Bengali Bridezilla, is in its final stages and due out in January.

I’m so excited for this one, as early readers have said its better than my debut, The Secret Diary of an Arranged Marriage

Just to whet your appetite, I’m sharing the front cover.

I’ve also got a new author website, which I’d love for you to check out. You can get some of my free short stories there, too!

And finally, if you’re stuck for ideas for what to do with the little ones during lockdown, this post is for you.
