Hundreds of protesters took part in a march to highlight the Indian government's crackdown in Kashmir.
Demonstrators braved the heavy rain in a protest to coincide with the Conservative Party Conference being held in the city this week.
The Kashmir Solidarity March assembled at All Saints Park on Oxford Road heading through the city.
It was one of several protests planned in the city today.
Another demonstration in the city supporting the people of Palestine called for the government to stop arming Israel.
