There has been sympathy for a delivery driver who was filmed eating out of containers and then resealing the packages.
The video, which was filmed in Madurai in southern India, shows a man on scooter, wearing a T-shirt from food delivery app Zomato, eating food out of orders then resealing them and putting them back into a delivery bag.
At first there was outrage from users who said they would reconsider using the app.
We take food tampering very seriously.

However, with the news that Zomato would be sacking the man others asked for them to reconsider.

Please don't fire that employee. Be a little considerate and shift to some other department of yours 🙏

Why it is such a big deal when a hungry human is turning into a rebellion to eat the food? Instead, @Zomato @swiggy_in @foodpandaIndia needs to feed their delivery guys properly
