A woman has shared pictures of the injuries sustained after she says three Asian men attacked her.

Police are investigating the incident where Nikki Hurst, aged 32, was attacked as she walked down Lady Ann Road in Batley.

The attack happened near to the Mill Village Shopping Complex, on October 31 at 6.45am when she was racially abused, pushed and kicked.

Det Insp Mark Atkinson, of Kirklees CID, said: 'This was a terrible incident and one which left the victim with very serious injuries.

'We know that just after this time, a member of the public located the victim close to the location of the assault and contacted the police.

'Police arrived at the location within 12 minutes of the report being made and swiftly administered first aid, providing ongoing support until the ambulance arrived as short time later.'

He added: 'We have been in regular contact with her to enable us to investigate the incident fully.

'I would like to appeal to members of the public who have witnessed the incident or have any information to come forward and assist with our investigation.'

The incident has been shared on a video in which she is interviewed by Tommy Robinson.

She is reported in a video as saying, "I was assaulted by three Asian lads and they smashed me into a Yorkshire Stone Wall.

"I was coming back from Tesco with me Breakfast.

"They shouted 'You White Girl, give us a light'.

"I carried on walking and they started calling me a 'gori slag' and a 'white slag'.

"And then one of them walked me behind me and smashed me head.

In the video she says was not contacted by police 'seventeen eighteen days afterwards'.
