Mosques across the UK have been opening their doors to the wider public as part of Visit my Mosque Day.
Mosques across the UK shared tea and refreshments alongside an insight into the day-to-day goings on of a busy Muslim centre of worship.
The hashtag #VisitMyMosque aimed to reach out to fellow Britons and explain their faith and community beyond the hostile headlines.
