A 16-year-old girl arrested earlier this week by counter-terrorism police has been released without charge.
A boy, also 16, arrested in Greater Manchester on Monday remains in custody.
The pair were arrested by officers from the North West Counter Terrorism Unit (NWCTU) on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism.
Two addresses in the Mossley area of Tameside were also searched.
A 29-year-old man arrested yesterday by West Midlands Police in connection with suspected online posts referring to Islamic State was released last night on bail conditions which include not posting material or comments online.
