Bindi and Mansoor were star-crossed lovers and now they’re everyone’s favourite couple.

They’ve been happily married for years and have built a great life for themselves in the UK.

But something’s not right; Mansoor’s decided to move back to India and is waiting in the departure lounge! Bindi’s hatched a plan to get him to stay and half the neighbourhood are involved.

Actors Komal Amin and Maanuv Thiara swing through a myriad of colourful characters - playing not just Bindi and Mansoor, but over 13 other roles between them, including a Scottish Policewoman and a streetsmart teenager.

Director Gitika Buttoo said: "It's not often, on our UK stages, that we get the opportunity to see two ferociously gifted South Asian actors bringing South Asian stories to life in this way. It's an absolute honour and privilege to be directing this production and i hope audiences leave feeling full of laughter, hope and joy."

Gitika Buttoo has worked with theatres and companies including Leeds Playhouse, Octagon Theatre Bolton, Birmingham Opera Company, National Theatre and CAST, Doncaster. She is Associate Director at LUNG Theatre and directed LUNG’s UK tour of Trojan Horse, which came to the Coliseum in February 2020

Writer Tanika Gupta has penned over 20 stage plays, 30 radio plays for the BBC and several original television dramas, as well as script for EastEnders, Grange Hill and The Bill.

The characters of Bindi and Mansoor were first introduced in her British Bollywood musical Wah! Wah! Girls in 2012; and proved so popular that Love N Stuff was commissioned, all about them, premiering at Theatre Royal Stratford East the following year.
