JAMES KENYON (Jimbob, Jimmy, Jim, Firefighter 45, 2EOUVM) After a courageous fight, on Friday, 16th November, 2018, James passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his immediate, loving family, aged 67 years. James started his career as a motor mechanic at Walsh's and then served as a firefighter for 32 years at Blackburn and later as a valued member of Co-op Funeralcare. A much loved husband of Carol, loving dad of Gordon and Graham, devoted grandad to Hannah, dearly loved and loving son of the late Roy and Marion, loved brother of Brenda, dear brother-in-law to Jeanette, Jeff and Tom, uncle, cousin, best companion to Tilly and good friend to many. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Mincing Lane, Blackburn. The cortege will leave from his home address on Monday, 26th November for a 2.00 pm service in Blackburn Cathedral followed by interment at Pleasington Cemetery. Please wear a splash of colour in memory of James. The family invite you to join them at The Hare and Hounds, Lammack Road, Blackburn following the interment.
