Charlton boss Lee Bowyer is hoping Jonny Williams and Sam Field will be available for next Saturday’s trip to QPR.

The Addick’s have suffered an injury crisis at The Valley the last three months and the return of two key midfielders will be warmly welcomed by the manager.

Both Field and Williams have been missing since being stretchered of in mid-October at Bristol and at home to Derby, respectively.

Charlton’s injury woes were highlighted in Friday’s 2-2 draw with Hull City as Bowyer could only name six substitutes on the bench.

“Jonny will start training with us on Monday, then he’ll be ready for the weekend,” he said.

“As long as he gets through training all week.

“Sam comes back to us on Wednesday, he’s been training with West Brom outdoors for a while.

“Hopefully if he’s good Thursday and Friday he’ll be in the squad for QPR.

“I’m hoping he looks good and then he’ll be on the bench.”
