BURY ABC's Ibrahim Nadim will compete in the semi-finals in the Greater Manchester region of the ABA Championships in Tameside on Sunday.
The 20-year-old, who fights in the 52-56kg division, made it through his quarter-final at the Holiday Inn in Bolton last week when he stopped Liam Phillips, of Moss Side Fire Station club, in the third round.
Meanwhile, club-mate Abdul Khan spent a day at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield on Sunday in recognition of winning a national title recently.
