A celebrity cricket match featuring Pakistani legend Misbah-Ul-Haq raised funds for a Rohingya charity appeal.
London based Marketing Consultant, Imran Ahmed organised the match at Slough Cricket Club where a team of 11 international cricket stars including Imran Tahir, Saeed Ajmal, Saqlain Mushtaq and Iain O'Brien took on local players from Chesham, High Wycombe and Slough.
The event was supported by Chesham Asian Welfare Society (CAWS) who was celebrating its 10th year Anniversary.
Throughout it's 10 years CAWS has supported a number of charitable causes all over the world and this year Chairman of CAWS Masud Ahmed wanted to raise funds and awareness for the unfortunate Rohingyan refugees fleeing persecution in Myanmar
It was the first time Slough or neighbouring areas had hosted an event to this extent where people had the opportunity to see not one but 11 international stars.
