Paak United came from behind to win the Billy Clegg Cup final. A feat made all the more remarkable in that players were fasting!
The Pendle Charity League side were 1-0 down after the half time-time break against Prairie FC at Sough Park Earby.
But the game was turned on its head when substitute Akash Ajmal who has been out for much of the season with injuries, came off the bench to equalise. His first saw him beat three defenders to to send the Paak faithful wild.
He then clinched the cup for Paak as indecision in the opposition defence saw him lob the goalkeeper.
Paak who had a mix of youth and experience in the side held on for the win.
The Paak squad for the final was Sakib Choudhry , Maaz Ali, Waqar Ahmed, Shazieb Bin Zaman, Ibrar Ahmed, Daniyal Butt, Abubaker Khan Raja, Kasif Choudhry , Ali Younis, Mohammad Akmal, Nadeen Rashid, Akash Ajmal, Ejaz Khan, Sarfraz Nawaz, Zia Mohiuddin.
