Boxer Bally Younas helped to raise thousands for charity as he took part in a boxing showdown.

Bally was up against Manchester’s Patrick Hacking at a special fight night at Box Fit Darwen.

In a quick-fire bout Bally was too strong for his opponent and the fight was stopped early on.

“I just wanted to do something for charity. It was a good challenge for me going up against an undefeated fighter. I had to lose a stone to get down to 13 and a half stone.”

Bally said he was surprised at how the fight panned out, “I used to box when I was younger. The last time I fought in 2008”

“I only did for charity and I’m not sure if I will continue fighting A big thank you to all the fans and especially to Izzy Ahmed, Bawler (Bfit) and my cousin Saqab Bage.”

“Goldmark shall be continuing with our efforts to raise as much money as is possible for Derian House throughout 2018 along with several other community and humanitarian projects.”
