The first Community Sports award was presented in 2008 and since then we have honoured the hard work of a range of volunteers.

Yaqoob Hussain, from Audley Boxing Club was awarded the first Community Coach of the Year, which was created in memory of Mumtaz Ellahi, a Ju Jitsu instructor, who died aged 46.

Mumtaz's family have been keen supporters of the award and each year we honour the hard work and dedicated efforts of sports club organisers.
