There have been 15 deaths in Scotland in the last 24 hours. 

Nicola Sturgeon confirmed in the daily briefing that there will be 15 more deaths in the last 24 hours 1,456 new confirmed cases overnight.

There are 824 in hospital (+70) 69 in ICU (+8)

The First Minister told the Scottish Government’s coronavirus briefing the death toll under this measure – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – has risen to 2,625.

She said 49,164 people have now tested positive in Scotland, up from 47,708 on Monday.

The daily test positivity rate is 11.4%, up from 6.4% on the previous day.

Of the new cases, 500 are in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, 393 in Lanarkshire, 198 in Lothian, and 116 in Ayrshire and Arran.

There are 824 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus, up by 70 in 24 hours.

Of these patients, 69 are in intensive care, a rise of eight.
