A DAY-LONG festival of folk and blues music is heading to the Isle of Wight next month.

Wolverton Folk and Blues Fair is set to take place at Wolverton Manor, Shorwell, on Saturday, May 11, between 11.30am and 8pm.

Since its successful launch in 2011, the family-friendly festival has gone from strength to strength.

Special guests this year include rising British soul/blues artist Mississippi MacDonald, award-winning UK folk stars 3 Daft Monkeys, and British blues legends Ruthless Blues.
