RESIDENTS of three roads in Whitchurch are being warned to expect delays next month for nearly three months because of gas works.
Cadent, the gas company, has written to residents around Queensway, Rydal Avenue and Fraser Court to say that work on gas mains in the area will begin on Monday, April 15.
The letter set out to residents what work is expected to be carried out and how they will be impacted upon throughout the 11 weeks.

It said: “This work is part of a big investment programme to upgrade our older gas mains.
“This will help us keep you warm in your homes, with less impact on the environment.
“Our project will is due to star on Monday, April 15 and is likely to last 11 weeks.
“We expect to affect some customer gas supplies, we will be liaising with these customers Independently to discuss the work required.
“There will be temporary traffic lights in place at junctions which require traffic management to ensure the safety of our workforce, pedestrians, and road users.
“As with any additional traffic management please plan your journey accordingly.
“Bus stops located within the immediate vicinity of our works will be suspended.
“Our works may impose upon on-road parking although we endeavour to maintain on-road parking to residents and access to driveways for customers registered to priority services,
“(But) it Isn't achievable or safe to do so In all cases. Our customer liaison officers will work closely with residents to minimise disruption where possible.
