A DOG has been rescued in Slough by police officers after his owner was taken to hospital.
PCSO Charly Matthews and PCSO Megan Gormley helped take care of the four-legged pooch after the owner had been taken ill.
The dog's owner had to be taken to hospital so the officers are looking after
TVP Slough said on Facebook that the dog will remain in their care until the owner is well enough to have him back.
The Facebook post said: "PCSO Charly Matthews and PCSO Megan Gormley helped to rescue a very friendly dog yesterday who had been left alone after his owner had been taken ill and had to go to hospital.
"The dog will remain in our care till the owner is well enough to have the dog back."
