A Christmas card designed by a child from Watford has been praised by Prime Minister.
Watford MP Dean Russell shared the winning entry of his Christmas card competition with Boris Johnson who was so impressed by it, he wants a copy of it once it has been published.
The competition was open to all Watford primary schools and a number of local organisations.
The victorious design was submitted by Adhar, a service user of Cathartic, which is a creative arts organisation offering support to the most vulnerable in our community to enrich health and wellbeing and inspire confidence and artistic ability.
Mr Russell said: "Cathartic does fantastic work with local children living with physical and neurological impairments and/or learning difficulties.
"There were so many fantastic entries, but Adhar’s really stood out. He is clearly a very talented artist and the Prime Minister was really impressed with his work, he loved it so much he requested a copy of the finished product.
"I would like to thank every child that submitted an entry, picking a winner was not easy but I really enjoyed going through all of the entries."
