Fire services were called to a blaze at a recycling plant in Bolton for the sixth time in the last two months last night.
A call was made after flames were spotted at around 7.15pm last night on Oakenbottom Road in Breightmet.
Firefighters attended and battled a blaze at the Chadwick Recycling Plant for around an hour, which is believed to have been started by youths.
A spokesman said: “Two breathing apparatus were committed to what was a single storey building.
“It was approximately 25 metres by 10 metres. There was also a hosereel.
“The three appliances worked for 60 minutes to deal with the incident.
“They conducted a thorough search of the building to ensure there were no youths still inside.”
The firefighter added: “This is the sixth time fire service have been mobilised to an incident here in the last two months.”
He also said they were working with the other agencies to deal with fires in the area.
