POLICE have found a further cannabis set-up at a home where electricity had been bypassed after an illegal immigrant was found looking after a cannabis farm.

The plants were found at a home in Church at around 6pm yesterday.

At the same home, Police had earlier arrested illegal immigrant Ymeer Zyiali when officers found a cannabis farm inside the home after responding to reports of a fight.

A spokesman for police said: "After receiving information we have found another cannabis set-up where the electricity has been bypassed in Church.

"This is a great result for the team and the residents of Hyndburn.

"Any information regarding cultivation of cannabis please do not hesitate to call 101 or reply on Lancashire Talking. Thank you for your continued support."

Every room bar one inside the property had been configurated for the production of cannabis, with 55 plants with a total street value of £22,000 found inside the house. Zyiali was found in the one remaining room, which had been set aside as living quarters.

Preston Crown Court heard how the 26-year-old found himself £14,000 in debt after he was smuggled into the country from Albania in a lorry.
