A charity joined forces with a Blackburn company to help bring a smile to children’s faces at Royal Preston Hospital.

Preston based The Light Foundation and the Mayor of Preston, Councillor David Borrow helped to distribute toys to children thanks to a donation by Star Tissue UK.

A spokesperson from The Light Foundation said: “Whilst we were sad to have not been able to visit the children themselves due to the current health and safety restrictions, we were delighted in helping to put a smile on their faces by giving these gifts.

“With the current circumstances we were determined more than ever to bring some form of happiness to them. We hope that the toys and goodies can bring some happiness to them and their families.
