A "complex" police murder investigation into the death of a young father whose remains were found in remote Bucks woodland is continuing.
The remains of Mohammed Shah Subhani, 27, were found in an isolated woodland at the side of the M40 in Hedgerley in December 2019 as Met Police officers, divers and specialist search teams combed the area for clues following his disappearance in May 2019.
Several people were arrested in connection with Shah's death, but no homicide charges have yet been brought forward, a hearing at Buckinghamshire Coroner's Court heard on Thursday.
Senior coroner for Bucks Crispin Butler said the Metropolitan Police have not yet asked him to suspend his coronial investigation and he is not aware of any homicide charges being made.
He added that the investigation into Shah's death is "complex" and there are no timescales to indicate when the murder probe will be completed.
A further hearing was scheduled for February 18 next year.
