THE University of Bradford reported three new confirmed cases of coronavirus among students and members of staff over the last week.

These figures represent new positive confirmed cases that have been reported to the university on a daily basis.

On Monday, November 30, two new covid cases were reported, both students, one of which was on campus.

On Thursday, December 3, one new covid case was reported, a university staff member, which was not reported on campus.

No figures have been released yet of any potential covid cases at the university for Friday, December 4.

The data shows the total number of new confirmed cases for University staff and students each day and, of that total, the number of those cases where the individual was on campus within 48 hours of developing symptoms.

Those affected have been urged to self-isolate for 14 days in line with Government guidelines and the University reassuring people that it has implemented "a range of measures".

This includes the delivery of any food and/or medical supplies as well as supporting students’ mental health.

The University's counselling and mental health service is offering telephone/video and email appointments to students.

Additional information on how to book tests has also been made available.
