A 58-YEAR-OLD woman involved with a crash on Killinghall Road has been taken to hospital with neck injuries.

West Yorkshire Police were called out at 1.41pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a black Nissan and blue DS3 Elegance.

The woman, who was driving the blue DS3 Elegance, received treatment via ambulance with witnesses describing how she had to be "cut out of the car".

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service was also in attendance.

One witness told how they heard "a very loud crash" and "saw the blue car rolling over".

The road was blocked for a time, whilst the incident was managed.

Lisa Robinson-Briggs was visiting her wife's hair salon, Toni RB Hair Design, when they heard a sound "like a balloon popping".

The concerned witness ran outside and asked if she was ok, to which the woman reportedly said, "I think so".

She immediately began to redirect traffic while her wife called 999 for an ambulance.

Bradford Telegraph and Argus:

It's the second time that the former Boy & Barrel owner has ended up redirecting traffic after a man had a heart attack at the wheel outside her pub.

Lisa told the Telegraph & Argus: "Well I just finished work and my wife has a hair salon on there. I was sat inside with my wife and we just heard noises and we've gone outside the door.

"It sounds like a balloon popping.

"She was being shunted up into the rails. I went out immediately and asked if she's ok, she said, 'I think so'.

"I said 'Turn the engine off, keep calm'. I told my wife to phone police and ambulance.

"I was diverting the traffic. The gentleman in the other seemed ok.

"I hope she's ok. The firemen and paramedics were great keeping her calm. It was fantastic, they did a really good job. She's gone to the hospital now."
